Installation and use instructions of rubber joints:
One. Selection of rubber joint type: The appropriate type of rubber joint must be selected according to the working pressure, connection method, medium and compensation amount of the pipeline, and the number shall be selected according to the noise reduction displacement requirements.
2. According to pressure: When the pipeline generates instantaneous pressure and is greater than the working pressure, a rubber joint with a gear higher than the working pressure should be selected. (For example: when the pipeline start-up instant pressure is >1.0MPa, the working joint should be 1.6MPa. When the instantaneous pressure>1.6MPa, the 2.5MPa joint should be chosen).
3. According to the pipeline medium: When the pipeline medium is acid, alkali, oil, high temperature and other special materials, rubber joints with a gear higher than the working pressure of the pipeline should be selected.
Fourth, the choice of flange: the flange connecting the rubber joint should be a valve flange or a flange that conforms to GB/T9115.1 (RF).
5. Medium during normal use of rubber joints: Normally applicable medium for flexible rubber joints is ordinary water with a temperature of 0-60℃, special mediums such as oil, acid, alkali, high temperature and other corrosive and hard texture conditions. Corresponding special-resistant material rubber joints should be used, and they cannot be used blindly in series or universally used.
6. The place where the rubber joint is in normal use: When the flexible rubber joint is used at the inlet and outlet of the pump, it should be located on the side near the pump, and a metal reducer should be installed between the pump and the large diameter of the reducer.
7. Displacement of rubber joints in normal use: When the displacement of the pipeline ≥ the maximum compensation amount of the joint, the number of joints should be increased to parallel the displacement. It is strictly forbidden to adjust the over-tolerance of the pipeline to make the joint at the limit of the distortion displacement and Deviation state, not to exceed the limit (extension, displacement, deflection, etc.).
8. How to use the rubber joint suspended in the air: high-level water supply or suspended water supply, the pipeline should be fixed on the hanger, bracket or anchor frame, and the joint should not bear the weight and axial force of the pipeline itself, otherwise the joint should be equipped with an anti-pull-off device (The bearing force must be greater than the axial force of the pipe).
9. When installing the rubber joint, the screw of the bolt should extend to the outside of the joint, and the bolt on the end face of each flange shall be tightened repeatedly and evenly according to the method of diagonal pressure to prevent pressure deviation. The threaded joint should be tightened evenly with a standard wrench. Do not use the afterburner to force the joint to slip, slip or break, and check it regularly to avoid loosening and causing peeling or water seepage.
Ten. After the rubber joint is under pressure for the first time (such as installation pressure test, etc.) or before long-term deactivation and reactivation, the bolts should be re-pressurized and tightened before putting it into operation.
11. When using or storing rubber joints, avoid high temperature, ozone, oil, and acid-base environments. Sunshades should be built for pipes used outdoors or facing the sun and wind. Exposure to the sun, rain, and wind erosion are strictly prohibited. It is strictly forbidden to paint and wind insulation materials on the surface of the joint. Due to the aging problem of rubber products, it should be checked and replaced in time.
